Find: Online Consignment Shopping

Although consignment shopping is actually really fun, online consignment shopping is even funner. I found both these sites about a year ago and I am addicted. Both stores guarantee the items are authentic so you don't have to worry about purchasing a counterfeit.

I-Ella.com is your regular online shopping site except the clothes is designer/vintage/consigned. Anyone can sell their clothes on the site but what I like most about I-Ella is that they also feature celebrity closets where celebrities such as Whitney Port, Lala Vazquez and Selita Ebanks sell their designer clothes.

You have the option to make a lower offer than what is being asked on any item and if the seller accepts the item is yours for that price!

The next online consignment store is ShopEDropOff.com. Cori McFadden (the owner) actually got her own show on VH1 called 'House of Consignment' about five months after I discovered the site. So if you watch the show you can see all the inner workings of the business and how the items are handled.

This site is set up a bit differently. It is actually a store on Ebay so all the items are sold in auctions. The prices on this site can get pretty high but they always have one-of-a-kind items that end up going for much less than retail. So if you can afford to shell out over two grand for a Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Takashi Murakami Hands Neverfull PM Bag then your in the right place!

With that being said, head on over to
www.I-Ella.com & www.ShopEDropOff.com.
I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

I pride myself on being an amazing gift giver. I like gifting things that someone wouldn't buy themselves but they subconciously want. That being said my favorite person to buy presents for is my mother. Going shopping for her is extremely entertaining for me. So with Mother's Day around the corner, here are a couple gift ideas. (Shhh! No one tell her)

Inspiration: PR Couture

One thing you should know about me is that I am a BIG dreamer. I love things that inspire, make me love, and make me think. So whenever I come across something that has inspired me in some way, it will definitely be featured here.

While on my quest to find what I wanted to pursue as a career I came across a website about fashion PR. Prcouture.com is a website dedicated to fashion and public relations. I have always loved fashion but did not want to join such a competitive, complicated and innovative field that I didnt have either the patience nor talent to be in. I can barely draw a stick figure.

As far as public relations goes, I had no idea what it was. Something having to do with marketing? advertising? Kelly Cutrone does it on MTV? Samantha does it on Sex and the City? I follow @OscarPRGirl on twitter?

After googling away for hours to learn more about a world that intrigued me, I almost gave up because there was truly no information source on this industry. (I've learned if it can't be found on google, it is definitely irrelevant)

Come in, Crosby Noricks.

PR Couture

I'm not going to get into detail about who she is and all she has under her belt because frankly I would not do it any justice. She explains it all to perfection in the about me section of her website.

To sum it all up, she too could not find any information about fashion pr so she decided to become the source everyone was looking for and boy did she do that. Her online fashion pr encylopedia features news & events, tips & strategies, jobs & internships and interviews with everyone from pr professionals and bloggers to interns.

So in honor of all the dreamers who reach and exceed their dreams, I leave you with a quote I try and recite in my head every single day.

"If no one has what your looking for, you go out and do it yourself"

Hello.

So i've decided to take a leap and join the blogging world. I have been following many different blogs for the past couple of years now and never really dedicated the time or digged for the mind power to create a masterpiece of my own, until now. I hope to be embraced and welcomed with open arms but I know this is all dependant on how
it turns out to be. Wish me luck!
